Theological colleges informed

Kohima, September 14 (MExN): Eligible Private Secular Colleges and Government permitted Theological Colleges have been informed to download the Grant-in-Aid form for the year 2021-2022 through the Department’s website www.highereducation.nagaland.gov.in and submit the filled up form to the Director, Higher Education, from 2September 20 to October 4. Forms will not be accepted after the stipulated date.

One unidentified dead body found 

Dimapur, September 14 (MExN): One unidentified dead body, non-local male and approximately 40 yrs, was recovered from Dhansiri River near Khushiabill colony play ground on September 13. Inquest was conducted and the cause of death is suspected to be due to drowning. After observing all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to Dimapur Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination, stated an update from Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur. Claimant/ relatives/friends of the deceased are requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge  East Police Station Dimapur. 

PBCC launches Clean Election Movement

Meluri, September 14 (MExN): Pochury Baptist Church Council (PBCC) launched Clean Election Movement on September 14 at Baptist Church Meluri Town under the theme ‘My Vote My Future.’ According to a DIPR report, ADC Meluri K Fürhesie Nyuwi was the main speaker. Short speeches were delivered by President Pochury Baptist Church Council Dr. Mosa Tsang, President Pochury Mother's association Sürhotshü, General Secretary Pochury Hoho Sierhosie, President Pochury Students’ Union Müphatho Nyuthe and President Pochury GB Union Lüpuchu. Executive secretary Rev. Rümatho Nyusou formally launched clean election movement, invoking God's blessings. Around sixty members comprising of church leaders and civil society organisation leaders attended the programme.
