NNC/FGN annual meet
Kohima, November 19 (MExN): The annual meet of Naga National Council (NNC) and Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) will be held on November 28 at 10:00 am in Transit Peace Camp (TPC), Kohima. FGN Ministry of Rali Wali in a press release has requested all the Central Authorities, Regional Authorities, Naga Women Federation’s leaders, Naga Youth Federation’s leaders and eligible Naga Army officers of the NNC/FGN requested to attend the annual meet.
Zhimomi Hoho 75th anniversary on Nov 24
Zunheboto, November 19 (MExN): Zhimomi Hoho will be celebrating 75th anniversary of its inception at Sheyipu village near Zunheboto Town on November 24.
“The host village is making grand preparations to welcome all members of Zhimomi clan for this historic celebration,” Media & Publicity Committee, Zhimomi Hoho 75th Anniversary Planning Board stated in a press release.
It stated that the 75th anniversary planning board is also bringing out a souvenir through its editorial committee which will be presented to all those present on the celebration day. Therefore, all members of Zhimomi clan have been requested to attend and receive the anniversary blessings.
Fire incident in Kohima
Kohima, November 19 (MExN): A fire incident has been reported this morning at around 7:00 AM above High School Junction, near Directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Kohima. Source said that the Nagaland Fire & Emergency Services personnel from both north and south side rushed to the spot and averted the situation. It is reported that a transformer located in the said area suffered burst due to short circuit. No causality has been reported. The incident caused power failure in the High School area for many hours together, source informed.
