
GPRN/NSCN UT bans fire crackers
Dimapur, November 21 (MExN): Considering the negative impact on hazardous health effect and harmful atmospheric pollution caused by fire crackers, the GPRN/NSCN Union Territory, Secretary A Vika Shohe in a press release stated that as per the advice of the Chairman Union Terriroty-1, it imposes “total ban on sale and bursting of fire crackers from the issue of this order.” The UT secretary also further “advised” the proprietors of night club “not to host late night gathering beyond 10 pm so as to restrain social disturbance and any outward incident.” It added that defaulters will be penalised as deem fit.
IMFL destroyed at Wokha
Dimapur, November 21 (MExN): A ‘destruction’ committee led by the Wokha Additional Public Prosecutor, SDPO, EAC (Judicial), OC Wokha, Prosecution Inspector (PI) and staff from PI court, destroyed a huge quantity of IMFL seized on different occasions during frisking and MVCP conducted in and around Wokha town. The destruction was done on November 19 at helipad area Wokha, informed a DIPR report received here on Monday. The destroyed consignment included Magic Moments Vodka (96 bottles), MC Dowells (68 bottles), MC Rum (24 bottles), Kingfisher Beer (2160 bottles), MC Rum (840 bottles), Officer's Choice (4 bottles), according to the DIPR.
NNC/GDRN (N-A) revokes suspension
Dimapur, November 21 (MExN): The collective leadership of NNC/GDRN (N-A) has revoked the Suspension Order of S Marg Rengma, Deputy Kilonser cum Rengma Region chairman. “The order comes in to effect from this day of publication. Eg.21st /N0v/ 2022,” MIP, NNC/GDRN (N-A) stated in a press release.
