
Free Legal Aid Cell for women at NSCW office
Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): The Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) with support from the National Commission for Women has set up a Free Legal Aid Cell to facilitate women with grievances relating to women issues. According to a press release from the NSCW Secretary, the services can be availed in the office chamber at NBCC Complex, 1st Floor, Bayavü Hill, Kohima. Kohima Police advisory on G20 summit
Kohima, March 22 (MExN): The Kohima Police has issued an advisory directing removal of all off-road vehicles, construction materials and private no parking signage in front of shops/business establishments and on the side of the roads, that are causing obstruction to free movement of vehicles and defacement of public spaces. The materials are to be removed on or before March 27 and failure to comply with the directive would result in removal and confiscation of the materials, it stated in a press release on Wednesday. Further, all off-road vehicles shall also be towed away by the police and the towing charges shall be borne by the owners, it said. The advisory has been issued in view of the G20 summit to be held in Kohima on April 5, it added while appealing for co-operation and support from all citizens.
