DMC informs on trade license 

DIMAPUR, MAY 15 (MExN): The Dimapur Minicipal Council (DMC) has informed that all existing registered trade license under DMC who have not renewed their trade license and defaulted are hereby declared as cancelled/invalid with effect from May 16.  “Henceforth, all unregistered/defaulters of trade license can apply under the new trade license management system with payment of 1 (one) time registration fee and security deposit equivalent to 1 (one) year trade license & sanitary services fees as per the new terms and condition laid down for issuance of trade license under DMC,” a press release from the DMC stated. Further, it was also notified that the office of DMC shall be undertaking physical verification and mapping of all shops/business establishment location under DMC jurisdiction and defaulters shall be penalized.  

Committee on Public Undertakings meeting on May 17

DIMAPUR, MAY 15 (MExN): Imkong L Imchen, Chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings, Nagaland Legislative Assembly has convened the Introductory-cum-Adoption Meeting of the newly constituted Committee for the year 2023-2024 on May 17 at 11:00 A.M in the Assembly Committee Room to take stock of unfinished business of the committee and also to chalk out the work programme for the said year. All the members of the committee have been requested to make it convenient to attend the proposed meeting.

WDSTGA meeting on May 19

WOKHA, MAY 15 (MExN): The Wokha District Small Tea Growers Association (WDSTGA) has convened an emergency meeting on May 19 at 11:00 Am at Orchid Colony Community Hall, Wokha Town. A press release from the association informed all tea farmers in the district to attend the said meeting positively.

Sazolie College of Teachers Education (SCTE) Alumni Meet on May 20

Kohima, May 15 (MExN): The Alumni meet of the Sazolie College of Teachers Education (SCTE) is scheduled to be held on May 20 at the college Auditorium. A press release from the SCTE Alumni Associate informed that the programme will start at 10:30 AM, wherein welcome address will be delivered by Kikkruneinuo Liezietsu, President of Alumni Associate; Kabi John, Assistant Professor will deliver a short speech and  Dr Gomesh Moasahary will deliver the Principal's message. It informed that on the occasion, ‘Student of the year Award’ will be conferred from 2019 till 2022.
