
New Seithekema’ village is now ‘Seitheke Basa’
Kohima, May 23 (MExN): New Seithekema’ village under the Chümoukedima District has been officially renamed as ‘Seitheke Basa.’ As per the State DIPR, the Home Department in a notification has informed that the change of the ‘New Seithekema’ village to ‘Seitheke Basa’ village was “with immediate effect.” This notification was issued with the approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, it added.
AAY beneficiaries informed to link Aadhaar with ration card
Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): All Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) beneficiaries under the Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Nuiland districts have been notified to link Aadhaar card with their AAY ration card compulsorily by June 30 for authentication. Those beneficiaries, whose ration cards are not linked with their Aadhaar Card/number by the stipulated period, would be considered as non existence and replaced with genuine beneficiaries, informed a notification from S Kavito Aomi, Assistant Director, Food & Civil Supplies, Dimapur. The urban/rural FPS are also instructed to issue AAY food grains online through EPOS device only, after proper identification of the beneficiaries, it added.
ANSTA informs
Kohima, May 23 (MExN): A meeting of the All Nagaland School Teachers' Association (ANSTA) and the teachers serving under Niuland district have been scheduled at Government Higher Secondary School Niuland May 26. A press release from the Association informed that the meeting will discuss the formation of ANSTA Unit, Niuland district as well as consider “few other urgent issues“ and requested all teachers under Niuland district to attend the meeting.
NSCN/GPRN (Akato) recovers Pulsar bike
Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): The CSC (Crime Supression Cell) of the NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) has recovered a Bajaj Pulsar bike (bearing Engine No CE4CK2400982, and Chassis No.MD634CE43K2CO1165). Accordingly, a press release from the MIP informed genuine owner with appropriate and proper documents (in originals) to claim bike within seven days. NSCN-K (Khango) recovers Apache bike
Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): The Crime Monitor Cell of the NSCN-K (Khango) has recovered one TVS Apache 150 (Black and blue colour) and has informed genuine owner to claim the bike with seven days. A press release from the MIP NSCN-K (Khango) gave the details of the bike as vehicle No. AS04-8655; Engine No DNZCCED23064; and Chassis No- MD2A11CZ4ECD44919. Genuine owner along with all original documents can contact 8974696928 for claiming the same from the CMC Secy In-charge within seven days’.
