NNC meeting on July 29
Dimapur, July 9 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) has informed that a formal meeting of NNC will be held on July 29 at 10: 00 am at Peace Hall, Chedema Peace Camp, Chedema as per the programme scheduled for installation of new office bearers of NNC. Therefore, Acuyi Vadeo Joint Secretary, NNC Nagaland in a press release has requested all NNC office holders, all national workers and concerned Naga public to attend meeting.
NSCN/GPRN (Niki) discharges one
Dimapur, July 9 (MExN): NSCN/GPRN (Niki) has discharged one Inavi Achumi, Kilonser resident of Upper Naharbari, Dimapur from Active National Service on the account of his “domestic problems.” The MIP NSCN/GPRN (Niki) in a press release said that “a discharge Azah issued from the office of Ato Kilonser, NSCN/GPRN stated the selfless service rendered by him for the cause of the nation will be recorded and remembered in the annals of the Naga history.” The concerned person is directed to submit his discharge order to the concerned office within seven days from the date of issue of this order, the Azah stated.
ANTA HQ Kohima informs
Kohima, July 9 (MExN): Bringing notice in connection with the current imbroglio between two contenting groups under ANTA, Dimapur Unit, the office of the All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Hq. Kohima today informed that the ANTA HQ. Kohima shall abide by the court's order (civil judge, senior division, Dimapur, Nagaland) and recognise Ghunato Chophy as the President of ANTA, Dimapur Unit. Furthermore, Ghunato Chophy has submitted to ANTA HQ Kohima, his proof of membership as a member of ANTA, Dimapur Unit, according to a release issued by ANTA HQ Kohima public relations & information secretary Mhasisetuo Solo.

Legislation meeting
Kohima, July 9 (MExN): Dr Sukhato A Sema, MLA and Chairman of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation, Nagaland legislative Assembly has convened a meeting of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation on July 12 at 11:30 am in the committee room of the Assembly Secretariat. The members have been requested to attend the meeting as scheduled.
NNC PB (Z Royim) clarifies
on change of nomenclature
Dimapur, July 9 (MExN): The NNC PB (Z Royim) has issues a clarification on change of nomenclature. In an emergency meeting held on July 9 at Dimapur, the National Tatar Hoho, Cabinet Kilonser, Military Wings, Secretarial Staff, along with the President of NNC PB (Z Royim) have “strongly condemned the Self declared Nomenclature and for manipulating and misleading the Naga People.” A press release received here stated that as declared earlier NNC PB (Z Royim) is under the umbrella of NNPA. “Furthermore, the NNC PB (Z Royim) will initiate a strict action against any individual indulging in an unauthorised Taxation/Collection in an around Dimapur in the name of NNC PB (Z Royim),” it cautioned. It also stated that in view of avoiding any unwanted incident, the Government seek the co-operation from all the concerned.
