
Cooking and baking courses in Noklak
Noklak, September 30 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Noklak has informed in a notification that the District Administration in collaboration with the district HUB for Empowerment of women (DHED) will be organising the two courses at Noklak. It includes three-day cooking course from October 3 to 5 (maximum intake of persons is 20) and three-day baking course from October 10 to 12 (maximum intake of 15 persons). The details may be sent to 9863164705 via Whatsapp on or before October 1 along with their name, address and mobile contact. The training will be offered free of cost.
Kohima Press Club condoles
Kohima, September 30 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has condoled the demise of Zanboni Yanthan, mother of its associate member, Jonas Yanthan, who passed away on the morning of September 30 at Lakhuti village. Zanboni Yanthan was 96 years old. ?”We convey our deepest condolences and pray that God will grant strength and comfort to the bereaved family during this difficult time of grief. May the departed soul rest in peace!” KPC said in its press note.
NZP free entry to students
Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): To mark the occasion of the Wildlife Week 2024 celebration, the Director of Nagaland Zoological Park (NZP), Rangapahar, Dr C Zupeni Tsanglai, IFS has informed that the zoo is giving free entry to students from October 2 to 8 on producing valid school or college ID Card. The Director has informed “to come and witness the nature and environment, and how we can create an impact to protect, preserve and restore.”
Non-local found dead in Dimapur
Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The Dimapur Police has reported that on September 27, at round 1720 hrs, telephonic information was received from Traffic Control Room, Dimapur stating that one unidentified non-local male dead body age around 50 years (approx.) was found lying below the Flyover Bridge near Traffic Control office, Dimapur. Basing on the information, East PS duty party rushed to the place of occurrence and ascertained the dead body. Inquest was conducted over the dead body, Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO, Dimapur stated in an update. The cause of dead was suspected to be of natural dead. Further, on completion of all legal formalities, the dead body was shifted to District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination/identification.
