Meeting between FGN & NNC to be held
Dimapur, April 17 (MExN): A meeting between the Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has been scheduled to be held on April 25 at 10:00 a.m. in the Transit Peace Camp (TPC), Kohima.
In a press statement received here from the Ministry of Rali Wali, FGN, the meeting will be held to discuss on the reality of the Naga nation and the deserted groups/factions.
Therefore, all the Central Authorities, Regional Authorities and high ranking Naga Army officers of the original NNC/FGN are requested to positively attend the meeting, the press statement noted.
DDMA Zunheboto to conduct mock exercise on April 20
Zunheboto, April 17 (MExN): The Zunheboto District Disaster Management Authority in collaboration with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) will be conducting a mock exercise on April 20 at Cornerstone Higher Secondary School and DC’s Office Complex, Zunheboto to test the government's preparedness to respond and manage any impending disasters. Informing this in a press release, Zunheboto Deputy Commissioner Rahul Bhanudas Mali has requested the public of Zunheboto town not to panic during the mock drill and urged for cooperation.
