Free archery coaching camp for girls in Chozuba

Phek, April 22 (MExN): Free archery coaching camp for girls under the flagship of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, organized by District Administration and DLCW- Mahila Shakti Kendra, Phek in collaboration with Chakhesang Archery Association, will be held at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall, Chozuba at 11:30 am on April 26. ADC, Imokokla directed that at least 20 girl students from each school, standard 8 and above in GHSS Chozuba, GHS Yoruba, GHS Japan Riba, Greenwood Cottage School, Eastern Christian High School, and GMS Chozuba Town to take part.

CBCC men conference in Phek underway 

Kohima, April 22 (MExN): A three-day long Men Conference under the aegis of Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) got underway at Phek Town Baptist Church under the theme “Choose for yourself today.” The conference have speakers like Rev Bonny Resuh, lead pastor Chakhesang Baptist Church Dimapur, Rev Khriitsoyi Luruo, former executive secretary CBCC, Rev Khrotso Mero, executive secretary CBCC and Rev Dr Vevo Phesao, senior pastor Chakhesang Baptist Church Minister’s Hill Kohima. Miirohii Chotso, retired secretary will be resource person. Among others, the conference will be marked by Bible quiz competition and discussion on clean election. It will continue till April 24.

GPRN/NSCN condoles

Dimapur, April 22 (MExN): GPRN/NSCN has grieved the passing away of two members. Yevuto Shohe, Tatar of Xelhozhe village, Union Territory Region who joined the national service in 1998, passed away on April 15 while Shiniho Zhimo, Tatar of Akuhaiqa village, Northern Sumi Sub-Region joined the national service in 1984 and passed away on April 22. GPRN/NSCN in a press note said,"They were a true assets for the Naga nation who served in various capacities and displayed unwavering competency in all the responsibilities assigned upon them throughout their service for the nation. Their service and legacy for the cause of the Naga nation is very much honored and will be fondly remembered and recorded in the pages of the Naga history.” It conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for departed souls to rest in eternal peace.
