Phek, April 8 (MExN): ADC & ARO Phek, Ruopfukuotuo Noudi, NCS, has informed all political parties, contesting Candidates/ Election Agents under Phek District that the commission in exercise of its power under article 324 of the Constitution and other power enabling it in this behalf, has directed that no political party or candidate or any other organization or person shall publish any advertisement in print media on poll day (i.e. April 19, 2024) and one day prior to poll day, unless the contents of advertisements are Pre-certified by the MCMC Committee at State/District level, as the case may be.

Dimapur, April 8 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Nikki) has clarified that in connection with the news item, “AR apprehends member of NSCN (Niki Sumi) involved in extortion” reported on April 8, the person reportedly apprehended by AR personnel in Project Colony, Zunheboto on April 6 is not a member of the NSCN/GPRN and does not have any connection whatsoever with the NSCN/GPRN.
