
Strictly follow prescribed rates: DMC cautions businesses
Dimapur, August 20 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has notified business establishments and shops under its jurisdiction to strictly follow the rates as fixed by council from time to time for the interest of the consumers. Anyone found selling above the prescribed rates, shall be penalised as per the provision of law, stated a press from the DMC Chief Executive Officer Thungchanbemo Tungoe. Consumers and general public can also contact the Councilor/Member/Incharge at 7005519238 and 8787717947 for any grievances or complains, it added.
State workshop on Sadasyata Abhiyan
Kohima, August 20 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland is all set to conduct a one day state workshop on Sadasyata Abhiyan: A Membership Drive Campaign - 2024' on August 21 at Lion's Club, Dimapur. The Workshop will be attended by State Office Bearers, BJP Legislators, State Spokespersons, State Morcha Presidents and General Secretaries, State Council Members, State Social Media, State Media, State IT Cell, District In-Charges and Co. In- charges, Elected Councilors of Municipal and Town Councils, District Presidents and General Secretaries, and special invitees. Registration for delegates will start from 8: 30 AM onwards and the workshop will take place at 10:00 AM.
NSCN-K (Niki) terminates one
Dimapur, August 20 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Niki) has terminated Nzanthung Lotha, Deputy Secretary, NSCN/GPRN permanent resident of Okotso village in Wokha district and currently residing in Signal Basti, Dimapur “from the active national service for his involvement in anti-national activities, which is accountable to immediate termination as per the Ahza of the government.” As per the MIP of NSCN-K (Niki) press release the “termination order issued from the office of Cabinet Secretary stated any individual, organizations, societies, unions, business associations or the state government dealing with him shall be doing so, at their own risks and for which the government will bear no responsibility for his activities that he may undertake on behalf of the government.”
GPRN/NSCN terminates one
Dimapur, August 20 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has terminated the service of Lieutenant Khekato Kiba Hozukhe village of UT-I “from the active National Service of GPRN/NSCN, on account of drugs abuse and Anti-National Activities.” In a press release, Maj Gen Yekuto Zhimo, Deputy Commander-in-Chief (Dy C-in-C) General Headquarters, Naga Army said that this Order comes with immediate effect.
