NSF federal assembly on Aug 20

Kohima, August 3 (MExN): The Assembly Secretariat of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) notified all the Federating Units, Sub-ordinate bodies and Senior leaders of NSF that the 3rd Federal Assembly for the tenure 2021-2023 has been summoned on August 20 at the Conference Hall of Hotel Acacia, Dimapur. The Assembly shall commence at 11:00 AM. Further, any unit(s) seeking to place any agenda for discussion during the assembly shall have to do so in writing, in the respective unit’s official letterhead, at-least 1 hour prior to the commencement of the Federal Assembly. This was stated in a release issued by NSF speaker James Brilliantson Kashung.

LJP Nagaland greets on Tsüngrenmong

Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): The LJP Nagaland has extended greeting to the Ao community of Nagaland as the occasion of Tsüngrenmong. “May this festival bring happiness and prosperity to our people and strengthen the bond of inter-tribe brotherhood,” stated a press note issued by General Secretary & Spokesman attached to the president (LJP Ram Vilas).

DVC expels one 

Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): The Diphupar Village Council (DVC) has expelled one Kihito Sema for a period of six months w.e.f August 5 “on account of selling alcohol.” DVC Chairman, Ghuzui Shohe and Secretary, Tiatemsu Ao in a press release stated that the decided in pursuant to the declaration of ‘Alcohol Free Zone Diphupar Village’ and resolution adopted by general public rally on July 25.
