Nagaland to launch E-Challan service
Kohima, December 12 (MExN): The Motor Vehicles Department, Nagaland, will be launching E-Challan System in the state of Nagaland on December 15 at 11:00 AM at District Transport Office, Dimapur. Robert Longchari, Commissioner & Secretary for Transport department will grace the occasion as the special guest. Keynote address will be delivered by Lanusungkum Aier, Sr Technical Director & SIO, Transport Project Coordinator, NIC. The programme will be chaired by Yaongsanglee Chang, Deputy Transport Commissioner while Elias T. Lotha, Transport Commissioner, Nagaland will deliver a closing remark.
NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe) condoles
Dimapur, December 12 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe) has mourned the demise of Cabinet Kilonser, Nasu Chang. He passed away at his hometown in Tuensang on December 11. Chang, who joined the Naga national service in 1993 as a regional worker, rose through the ranks to become a Cabinet Kilonser. The NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe), in a statement released by its MIP described his passing as “the end of an era” and “an immense loss to the nation.” The statement highlighted his three-decade-long service, noting he served “with utmost sincerity and dedication.” It commended his contributions to the revolutionary movement, his courage in “challenging injustice,” and his role in “advancing the rights and dignity of the Naga people.” It extended deepest condolences to Chang's family, comrades, and colleagues.
