Meeting on e-KYC campaign rescheduled to December 3

Dimapur, December 1 (MExN): The District Food & Civil Supply Officer, Dimapur, has issued a circular announcing the postponement of the previously scheduled meeting regarding the e-KYC campaign. Initially planned for December 2, the meeting will now take place on December 3 at 10:00 AM at the conference hall of Hotel Saramati, Super Market, Dimapur.

The e-KYC campaign, which is set to conclude on December 31, involves rural and urban Fair Price Shops across the Dimapur, Nuiland, and Chumukedima districts. The rescheduling is attributed to unavoidable circumstances, and all Fair Price Shop dealers in the aforementioned districts are directed to attend the meeting without fail.

The circular has also been communicated to the Director of Food & Civil Supplies, Nagaland, and prominent newspapers for publication.

Nagaland House New Delhi celebrates 62nd Statehood Day

New Delhi, December 1 (MExN): Nagaland House in the national capital marked the 62nd Nagaland Statehood Day on December 1 with a celebratory program at its premises on Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road. The event was attended by senior officers and staff of Nagaland House.

Resident Commissioner Wennyei Konyak hoisted the national flag to commemorate the occasion. Addressing the gathering, he reflected on the progress the state has achieved over its 62 years of statehood. Konyak emphasized the critical role of government employees in shaping the state's development and urged them to serve with dedication and commitment.

He encouraged the staff to continually enhance their skills and knowledge to meet the demands of their responsibilities. "We must never tire of learning and improving," he remarked, highlighting the importance of adapting to the evolving needs of governance.

UNPG/NNC-PB informs

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 1 (MExN): The office of the UNPG/NNC-PB urged all the bars, pubs and wine stores running in and around Dimapur and Chumoukedima area to remain closed on Sunday. A press release from UNPG/NNC-PB NIP Secretary, Kiyeka Chishi and Home Secretary, Enos Naga also prohibited selling of any addictive substances and gambling activities during night carnivals. “Any group or individuals failing to comply with the order shall be strictly dealt with according to the Azha of the government,” it stated. The order comes into effect from December 1 till further notice. It informed that for further queries, one can contact 8453752381. The UNPG/NNC-PB meanwhile wished citizens a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. 


 

The Japanese delegation led by HE ONO Keüchi Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Japan to India visited Kohima Science College Autonomous,Jotsoma on December 1 to pay their respects at the remains of the Japanese soldiers which are stored at the Department of Anthropology storage facility.
