DMC to declare ODF+
DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 9 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has taken the decision to declare its area as Open Defecation Free Plus (ODF+). In this respect, fifteen (15) days have been given to all concerned for submission of claims and objection, if any, a press note issued by Chief Executive Officer Thungchanbemo Tungoe stated.
Kohima Police traffic advisory between Phesama & Kisama
KOHIMA, DECEMBER 9 (MExN): Kohima Police has informed that all vehicles parking between Phesama and Kisama Gate-1 are directed not to obstruct Right of Way (RoW). Defaulting vehicle causing obstruction to free flow of traffic on the NH shall be challaned and towed without further warning. Towing charges shall be borne by the vehicle’s owner, a press release issued by the PRO Kohima Police informed. It also directed that vehicle owners who are parking between Kisama Gate-1 and Kigwema to keep their vehicle parked facing Kohima side. Kohima Police request the cooperation and support from all citizens.
