Konyak Union Tobu Unit informs
Tobu, February 15 (MExN): The Konyak Union Tobu Unit elected new Office Bearers for the 2025-2028 tenure with President-SA Ngamlao; Vice President-YC Langsao; Vice president-M Wanmai; General Secretary - K Bechung Konyak; Press & Media Secretary-Wanmai Konyak N S; and Advisory Board Chairman-M Bumang. A total of 15 members, including all the council chairmen and the Hd. GBs of Tobu sub-division were elected to the Advisory Board.
NNC/GDRN (N-A) Yimkhiung Region resolves
Dimapur, January 15 (MExN): The Yimkhiung Region, NNC/GDRN (N-A) during its meeting held on February 14 at its regional headquarters resolved to support the leadership of President L Shiludi Longkumer and Ato Kilonser Shehoto I Yesca. A press release issued by Y Mukihba, Chairman, Yimkhiung Region, NNC/GDRN (N-A) stated that the regional authorities also affirmed to stand firm and to extend its unrelenting support to the Working Committee NNPGs under the Convener Gen (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak, President GPRN/NSCN (Unification) and Ato Kilonser, P Tikhak, NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) Working Convener and Col (Retd) Isak Sumi, Ato Kilonser NSCN/GPRN (K) Working Convener. “The meeting was attended by senior political leaders and military personnel,” it added.
PAC Evidence Meeting postponed
Kohima, February 15 (MExN): The Evidence Meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) with the Departments scheduled to be held on February 18 and 19 has been postponed. “The postponement is necessitated due to unavoidable circumstances since the Finance Department is fully engaged in preparing the Budget for the upcoming Budget Session,” NLA Additional Secretary Jenny Ndang stated in a circular. The details of the new dates/programme will be intimated separately in due course of time, it stated. Further, the Committee Members have been requested to make it convenient to attend the adoption meeting on February 18 for adoption of the 137th and 138th Main Reports of the public Accounts committee.
