
GST Compliance Assessment Report
Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): The Department of State Taxes has authorized the Commercial State Tax Officers (CSTOs) in the State to conduct a survey on GST Compliance Assessment by all the businesses in the State and collect queries and feedbacks from them. In this connection, all the businesses have been requested to extent cooperation and provide the necessary information and feedbacks to the Commercial State Tax Officers (CSTO) to enable them to complete the exercise by March 20.
NPCB directs industries operating in Nagaland
Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): All industries operating in the state of Nagaland have been directed to apply for consent to establish/operate from the Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB) under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and authorization under the Hazardous and Other Waste (Management and Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2022. “Inspection will be carried out to all the industries by the inspection team of NPCB. Industries operating without valid consent certificate and without pollution control measures & Air Pollution Control Devices will be dealt with as per the provisions of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986,” stated a press release issued by K Hukato Chishi, IFS, member Secretary, NPCB.
