
KMC revises rate for hair salons & barbers services
Kohima, February 21 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has revised the rate for service of Hair Cutting Salons/Barbers within KMC jurisdiction. The revised rate will now stands at: Hair Cutting- Rs. 60, Hair cutting & shaving Rs 70, shaving with foam/cream Rs 50, head massage –Rs 50, body massage- Rs.50, Hair Dye Charge- Rs 50 plus cost of hair dye. The following shall be mandatory: Display of approved rate chart, display of Medical Fitness Certificate, use of blue colour apron, wash basin and soap for hand wash, new blade for every customer and every barber shall have 2-3 sets of hair cutting clothes for the customers. This was stated by KMC Administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer.
NCVYS informs
Chümoukedima, February 21 (MExN): The New Chümoukedima Village Youth Society (NCVYS) has notified that picnic and hangout within the village jurisdiction will be prohibited w.e.f. February 27 until further notice. The NCVYS with the village council has resolved this to curb the increasing unlawful activities indulging in littering of natural habitat, immorality and disruption of peaceful environment under the influence of alcohol in the pretext of picnic and hangout, it stated in a press release. Therefore, public have been advised to desist from such activities as stringent action will be imposed on violators as deemed fit by the NCVYS.
NSVC call for renewal of registration
Kohima, February 21 (MExN): The Nagaland State Veterinary Council (NSVC) has informed all the registered veterinary practioners registered under NSVC to update their full address including mobile number, email ID to be published in Electoral Roll for upcoming presidential election of Veterinary Council of India within this week. This was stated in a circular issued by NSVC Registrar Dr N Mhonchan Shitiri.
