NNC Parent Body (Z Royim) informs
Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): The NNC Parent Body (Z Royim), under the leadership of Z Royim and General Secretary Akiuba Yimkhiung, has officially appointed K Athong as the President of Yimkhiung Region. “This decision follows the departure of the former regional president, M Lokhum, who has joined another group and currently holds the rank of Deputy Kilonser. As a result, M Lokhum no longer has any authority over the Yimkhiung Region, which includes Pungro, Shamator, and Chessor,” NNC Parent Body (Z Royim) stated in a press release. It also clarified that the leadership of Yimkhiung Region falls under the prerogative of K Athong. The public has been requested “not to be confused but to extend full cooperation and support to the newly appointed Regional president.”
DC Mkg permits blasting of stone
Mokokchung, February 21 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji has permitted to the JKM Infra Works LLP Guwahati, Assam to carry out blasting of stone for widening of road at the construction site of two lane between DEF Police Church to Yisemyong at NH 61 (New NH 02), Angetyongpang Tzu River area on February 22 between 3:00 PM with the following terms and conditions. “The contractor shall ensure safety and security of the life and property of the public using the road. The company should follow all the relevant rules of explosives Act/Rule, 2008,” the DC Mokokchung stated in a release issued through the DIPR. “The JKM Infra LLP will be responsible for any damage of life and property, and this order will remain valid for the above mentioned day i.e. 22nd February 2025,” it added.
