DC Peren informs
Peren, January 16 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar, IAS has directed all the heads of Government Offices at the new District headquarter, Peren to clear outgrowths in and around their respective Offices in order to prevent destruction of Government properties due to forest fire, that in view of the fire hazard during the dry and windy season and as a measure of abundant caution.
Tseminyu DPDB meet
Tseminyu, January 16 (MExN): The monthly Tseminyu District Planning & Development Board meeting was held at DC’s conference hall, Tseminyu on January 16 under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Ar Jwenga Seb. The house discussed for provision of power supply and water connection to multi-purpose indoor stadium, Tseminyu, a DIPE report stated. Proposal for construction of town roads in Tseminyu Town was taken up and the concerned department was entrusted for further necessary action.
Mimkut greetings from Nagaland Gov
Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland La Ganesan has extended greetings to the Kuki community on the occasion of the Mimkut festival. “This vibrant celebration not only commemorates a bountiful harvest but it also embodies the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Kuki people. Patton greets on Tsungkamneo
Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): Dy CM Y Patton has greeted the Yimkhiung Naga community on the occasion of Tsungkamneo. Patton said that this celebration was marked by friendship and reconciliation, while giving thanks for the good harvest and increase in livestock. NSCN/GPRN (Khango) Lotha Region informs
Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): NSCN/GPRN (Khango) through its MIP has informed the public under Lotha jurisdiction to co-operate and extend support to the Lotha Region for the effective and smooth functioning of the Lotha region in particular and NSCN/GPRN in general. The NSCN/GPRN (Khango) Lotha Region Chairman, Z Lotha through the press release cautioned the “public not to entertain any financial assistance or contributions to individual(s) without the consent and authorisation from the region chairman.” It further cautioned all concerned that “extending contributions or financial assistance to individuals without authorisation shall be doing so at one’s own risk.”
