Home Dept informs on grant of computer advance

Kohima, January 20 (MExN): The Home Department Loan Branch, Government of Nagaland, has informed all state government employees that application forms for grant of personal computer advance for the financial year 2025–2026 will be issued from January 19 onwards. The department stated that applications will be received up to February 13. It has further clarified that no applications will be entertained after the due date.

Mkg DC informs on Republic Day 2026 programme

Mokokchung, January 20 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, has informed that the 77th Republic Day celebration will be held on January 26 at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.

According to the information issued, the programme will commence at the usual time of 8:30 am. The intimation has been addressed to the Village Councils of Ungma, Mokokchung, Chuchuyimpang and Khensa, the gaon burahs of Mokokchung town, functionaries of all 18 wards, and the general public of Mokokchung town.

The Deputy Commissioner has requested all concerned to attend and be part of the Republic Day celebrations.

Oath of secrecy for newly appointed NPSC chairman, members on Jan 23

Kohima, January 20 (MExN): The Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P&AR) Department, Government of Nagaland, has informed that the oath of secrecy will be administered to the newly appointed chairman and members of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) on January 23. According to the department, the Chief Secretary, Nagaland, has been nominated to administer the oath of secrecy. The oath-taking ceremony will be held at 12:00 noon at the Conference Hall of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima. All administrative heads of departments have been requested to make it convenient to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
