Inner Wheel District 324 informs

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): The Inner Wheel District 324 is distributing wheelchairs to beneficiaries during District Conference “SANKHNAAD” on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in India. Selection of beneficiaries will be on a first-come, first-served basis after verification by medical team. Hands-on training on SyncApp held

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): A hands-on training programme on the State SyncApp was conducted at the Conference Hall of the Department of Planning and Transformation, Kohima, on January 13. 
The training was facilitated by Er Rishav Sethi, CEO, NITI Technologies, and Planning Officer Kekhrie Mezhür Sekhose as resource persons. Participants were trained on the submission of new proposals and on updating details of ongoing projects under sectoral outlays for development activities for 2026–27, a DIPR report stated. 
 

NSCN (IM) on bail relief to ex-Naga Army chief’s wife

Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has lauded its legal team for what it termed their “hard work and never-ending patience in securing justice for Alemla Jamir.” Apart from the legal team, particularly senior advocates Kapil Sibal and Tanveer Ahmed Mir, the MIP, NSCN (IM), also acknowledged the role of the Supreme Court of India in delivering justice and upholding constitutional principles. Jamir, the wife of a former army chief of the NSCN (IM) Phungthing Shimrang, was granted bail by the Supreme Court on January 12 after six years in detention. The NSCN (IM) also lauded her spirit of resilience and strength during her “incarceration for six years.”
