NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe) onusage of ‘GPRN’ nomenclature

Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe) has issued a ‘warning’ on the “usage of the Nomenclature “GPRN” by some self vested individuals from the splinter group of NNC in the guise of Naga Political Group.” NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe) in a press note stated that the Nomenclature “GPRN” has invariably been associated with NSCN ever since its inception and acts as the political arm of the NSCN. “It is an entity which embodies the NSCN aspirations for an independent Naga nation. The NNC which was established in 1946 formed the FGN in 1956, thenceforth it has always been associated with the Nomenclature NNC,” it stated. Therefore, it reprimanded and cautioned those “Individuals/Groups not to mislead the Nagas by associating the usage of “GPRN” in their NNC Nomenclature.”

NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) terminates one

Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) has terminated one Lieut Col Thungpang of Tuensang village, “for his repeated misbehaviours and disrespectful misconducts against his superior and subordinate officers.” In a press release, MIP of NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) alleged that “Chang region eastern command also flagged off financial misappropriation of Thungpang and was constrained to remove him from his position.” It stated that the order was signed and dated by GSO -1 (Admin) of Naga Army, Brig Jack Chophi and comes into immediate effect.
