NSCN (IM) informs
DIMAPUR, JULY 11 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has informed that several national workers of different groups have made a right decision to join the “mainstream organization under the banner of National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN).”
A press release from the MIP of the NSCN (IM) informed that the individuals who joined and their previous affiliations are: Khamba Phom, Tatar (FGN); Pangong Phom, Leacy (FGN); Lieut Choba Phom (FGN); Sgt Maj Mangyang Phom (FGN); Sgt Maj Peko Phom (FGN); and 2nd Lieut. Wangnam Wangsa (NSCN-K).
“NSCN welcome the home-comers in good faith that they will remain faithful without wavering in their allegiance to NSCN/GPRN,” the press release added.
GPRN/NSCN Ato Kilonser condoles
DIMAPUR, JULY 11 (MExN): Ato Kilonser of the GPRN/NSCN & Co-convener, WC, NNPGS; Alezo Venuh has mourned the demise of NST Colony GB N Diswang Hau in a car accident on July 10.
A press release from the Ato Kilonser said that “there are very few distinguished social activists today who are as honorable, committed, brave and unbiased as him.” “I recall his enthusiasm and positive initiatives when he was a student leader at Kohima College in the early 1990s and later in the NSF where we worked together,” he stated.
He remembered Hau as a “brilliantly proactive human who worked tirelessly for the upliftment of his community in particular and the Nagas in general. “Today a great Naga patriot has left us! I am going to dearly miss our warm conversations on social, economic and political matters confronting the Naga people.
I shall treasure his friendship and the tremendous inputs and opinions shared with me over the years,” he stated, while expressing condolences to the bereaved family.
