NPCC welcomes former NDPP secretary to INC

DIMAPUR, JULY 19 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has welcomed Lithriyen Dupongle, ex-candidate and former secretary NDPP, to the Indian National Congress family. In a press note, NPCC president S Supongmeren Jamir said the Congress always welcomes responsible and like-minded leaders to come forward and join the humble Congress family with the greater vision to build Nagaland as a corruption-free State.
 
Work distribution meeting for Independence Day on July 21

DIMAPUR, JULY 19 (MExN): Home Commissioner, Nagaland has convened a meeting on July 21 at 2 PM at his office chamber to chalk out the work distribution/programme for Independence Day celebration on August 15. All the concerned departments have been requested to attend the meeting.

Noklak gears up for I-Day celebration

DIMAPUR, JULY 19 (MExN): Work distribution for the 76th Independence Day celebration was done on July 18 at DC Office conference hall, Noklak. Chairing the meeting, SDO (Civil) Noklak Vikhoto Richa requested all departments to cooperate for the successful conduct of the Independence Day celebration at Noklak. Because of the upcoming Independence Day celebration, the house also decided to conduct mass social work at Noklak town on August 9, a DIPR report informed.

NCSU congratulates MP Phangnon

DIMAPUR, JULY 19 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) has congratulated MP Rajya Sabha, Phangnon Konyak for being nominated to panel of Vice Chairperson of the Upper House. The NCSU, in a press release, expressed hope that as the first Naga woman to be nominated to such a prestigious chair, she will be able to deliver her best service to the tribal people in particular and the country in general. It wished her all success in her future endeavour. Meanwhile, the Union also congratulated Nitin Jairam Gadkari, Minister (Road Transport & Highways, Government of India for achieving the world record by constructing National Highway from Pune to Delhi (35 kms) with the timing of 100km/100 hrs.Under the dynamic leadership of Union Minister Gadkari, the country has been witnessing immense development of roads, especially National Highways and NCSU firmly aspires that he continues to achieve greater feats in the days to come, the press release added.
