
ANDDGDU general meet on July 22
KOHIMA, JULY 20 (MExN): The All Nagaland Directorate & District Government Drivers Union (ANDDGDU) has informed that there will be a general meeting on July 22 at Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union conference hall, PWD junction Kohima at 10:00 am. CTC informs businesses
DIMAPUR, JULY 20 (MExN): The Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC) has informed all business establishments under its jurisdiction to register/renew their trade license within a period of one week with effect from July 20. A press release from the council informed that it has come to notice several shops and business establishment operating their business without renewing or obtaining trade license. “Failing to comply, defaulter(s) will be deemed illegal and their shops/business shall be closed,” it cautioned.
DC Kohima issues public notice on ILP
KOHIMA, JULY 20 (MExN): The Kohima DC has informed that the Inner Line Permit (ILP) is mandatory for all non-indigenous inhabitants (both male and female) who are required to apply for the ILP, Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation (BEFR) 1873. In a public notice, the DC stated that the BEFR 1873 requires anyone who is not an indigenous inhabitant of Nagaland to obtain an Inner Line Permit (ILP) in a form and with conditions prescribed by the Government of Nagaland to enter the state for a limited period. The notice further directed everyone to comply, and cautioned that failure to do so shall result in stringent action.
DC Tuensang notifies on district awards
TUENSANG, JULY 20 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has informed that deserving cases for district commendation award for gazetted and non-gazetted government employees to be awarded on August 15 have been invited from the head of the offices concerned for examination and consideration by the District level Committee. While forwarding, the following criteria are to be strictly observed: ACR/APAR for 3 years; length of service more than 10 years; citation/recommendation by the citation/concerned along with brief write up about exceptional contributions of the employee; Hhead of Offices may only recommend 1 employee for each category/grade; and Integrity Certificate is to be signed by the forwarding authority. Application/ employee who have already received the award should not apply again. Recommendation, if any, should be duly filled up in the enclosed format and submitted to the DC Office Tuensang on or before August 3.
NBSE informs on submission of academic reports
KOHIMA, JULY 20 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education has notified all the Heads of registered institutions of the board that it will provide a uniform format for the academic report on the board’s portal www.nbsenl.edu.in from August 1 onwards. Institutions have been requested to download the file (Form no. 5) from the portal and duly fill in the required details and submit the report via email: nbsenag@gmail.com as per the dates given in the academic calendar, i.e., August 1 to 12 for Secondary and August 8 to 12 for Higher Secondary. It is compulsory for all registered schools under NBSE to submit the academic report.
Power Dept designates PIO
DIMAPUR, JULY 20 (MExN): The Power Department has designated the Appellate Authority, Public Information Officer, and Assistant Public Information Officer. A notice issued through the DIPR said that the Appellate Authority is Asangla Imti, Commissioner & Secretary; Public Information Officer is Imliakum, Deputy Secretary; and Assistant Public Information Officer is Tumchobeni Lotha, Under Secretary.
Provisional results of HSLC, HSSLC compartmental exams today
KOHIMA, JULY 20 (MExN): The provisional results of the HSLC and HSSLC Compartmental & Improvement Examinations 2023 conducted by the NBSE will be declared in the afternoon of July 21. The soft copy of the results will be made available on the Board's Portal (www.nbsenl.edu.in). Candidates can download their provisional mark sheets from the NBSE portal. The Board will issue the documents to the Centre Superintendents only from July 24 to 25. The Centre Superintendent will collect and distribute them to the schools under his/her Centre. In case a Centre Superintendent cannot come, he/she can authorize another Centre Superintendent who is coming to collect the documents on his/her behalf. As such, all Centre Superintendents have been requested to note the dates and collect the documents accordingly.
Cyber security awareness held
TUENSANG, JULY 20 (MExN): The DEF Tuensang organized a cyber security and financial fraud awareness programme on July 20 at Town Hall Tuensang. Putiyanger, ASI, Cyber Crime Cell, speaking at the program, emphasized that cyber crime is on the rise. He highlighted crimes like cyber stalking, credit fraud, identity theft, investment scams, online loan app scams, etc. He further added that cyber crime is a highly organized crime and everyone needs to remain vigilant and report it to the authorities without any hesitation. The programme was attended by police personnel and representatives from government offices in Tuensang. The program was chaired by Chilliam Khiam, ASI.
