NSCN (IM) mourn demise of Col Ngaranmi

Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed shock on the demise of Col (Retd), AS Ngaranmi, Kilonser of GPRN from Ringui Village under Wung Tangkhul Region who passed away on July 21. He joined the NSCN on April 2, 1974 and served with full dedication and loyalty in various capacities until his death. “His tireless and total dedication for the cause of the nation will be remembered by the Nagas of all generations,” Rh Raising, member, Collective Leadership, Caretaker Kilo Kilonser stated in a condolence note. “The GPRN conveys its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and relatives in this hour of grief. May his soul rest in peace!” he added. 

Central team to interact with handicrafts artisans in Chozuba

Phek, July 25 (MExN): The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India will interact with handicrafts artisans through a programme organized by Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Handicrafts Service Centre, Kohima in association with DIC Chozuba at Vamuzo’s Memorial Hall at 11:00 am on July 28. A DIPR report stated that the highlights of the programme will be schemes for DC (Handicrafts) to the Artisans, distribution of Pahchan ID Card, the benefit of e-commerce platform/GeM portal registration, MUDRA loan scheme, welfare scheme for artisans, the benefit of artisan I card (Pahchan), spot enrolment of new Artisan’s for Pahchan ID, GI registration & procedures, BimaYojana and helpline Centre 1800 208 4800.
