NSCW lauds women candidates in ULB election

Kohima, July 1 (MExN): The Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) led by its chairperson today extended congratulation to all the women who have triumphed in the recent Urban Local Body (ULB) elections in Nagaland. “It is truly inspiring to witness 83 women securing their positions through the 33% reservation and an additional 8 women succeeding through the general category,” the Commission stated. Your success is a testament to your dedication, determination, commitment and the unwavering support of your communities, the Commission stated adding “This significant achievement not just highlights your individual capabilities but also marks a progressive step towards greater gender equality and representation in our governance. NSCN/GPRN (Khango) recovers scooty

Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Khango), Dimapur Town Command, Naga Army has recovered one scooty (NL 07 M7506) bearing Chassis No- E3N8E0103257 and Engine No- MEISE77FAF0056778.  The MIP, NSCN/ GPRN (Khango) in a press release has informed the “genuine owner” of the scooty along with all original documents to claim the vehicle within 7 days’ time from issue of this notification.

Job fair held at ICFAI University Nagaland

Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): The District Employment Exchange Dimapur, Government of Nagaland (Model Career Centre Dimapur) and National Career Service Centre for Differently-Abled Dimapur in Collaboration with ICFAI University Nagaland held a job fair on June 28 at ICFAI University campus. Yapangsanla Lkr, National Career Service Young Professional said that job fair was organised keeping in mind the unemployment problem in Nagaland. The Ministry of Labour and Employment is implementing the National Career Service (NCS) Project as a Mission Mode Project for transformation of the National Employment Service to provide a variety of employment related services like career counselling, vocational guidance, information on skill development courses, apprenticeship, internships etc. The participants in the fair included - YouthNet, Quickserv, Talent Acquaintance, Jio, EduTech, Pinnacle Skills, AIDA and Gogivers.
