DNSU 4th Union Assembly 

Dimapur, July 24 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students' Union (DNSU) 4th Union Assembly for the tenure 2021-2023 is scheduled on July 26 at the Conference Hall, Hotel Cedar, Dimapur at 4:00 pm. All the concerned members of the constituent units President, General Secretary, and representatives of the DNSU have been informed of the union assembly. Further, the constituent Units President, General Secretary, Executive Members, and seniors of DNSU have been requested to attend the assembly. 

IRCSN 36th Annual General Meeting

Kohima, July 24 (MExN): The 36th Annual General Meeting of the Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch will be held on July 26 and 27. The Business Session will be conducted on July 26 at 11:00 am at the Conference Hall, Red Cross Complex, Kohima, while the Ceremonial Function will be held on July 27 at 11:30 am at Dr. lmkongliba Ao Hall, Raj Bhavan. This was informed in a press release issued by Akilate Khamo, General Secretary, IRCSN.

Oral Evidence Meeting on Aug 4 

Kohima, July 24 (MExN): The Chairman Committee on Government Assurances, Kuzholuzo Nienu, has convened an Oral Evidence Meeting of the Committee with the Departmental Representative of Transport (Civil Aviation, Railways & Waterways) on August 4 at 11:00 am in the Assembly Committee Room. All Members of the Committee on Government Assurances are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting.

ASU union assembly on July 29

Kohima, July 24 (MExN):  The 1st Union Assembly of the Angami Students' Union (Tenure 2023- 2025) will take place on July 29 at SAPO Hall Jakhama at 11:00 am. It will be hosted by the Southern Angami Students' Union. All range and unit presidents/representatives have been requested to attend the same positively. Senior leaders of ASU have also been invited to attend the same. This was stated in a release issued by ASU Union Assembly speaker, Zhasakholie Kehie and Secretary, Viketouzo Yashii.

Longleng to observe World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 

Longleng, July 24 (MExN): The District Administration, District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), and One Stop Centre (OSC) in Longleng will be observing the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on July 29. The event will be held at VDB Hall, Longleng, under the theme ‘Reach Every Woman of Trafficking: Leave No One Behind.’ The programme will witness the participation of various settlements/institutions, including representatives from Longleng town, Women Help Desk under the police, District Legal Service Authority, District Child Protection Unit, Phomla Hoichem, Phom Students Conference, Women Unit (Unionla), and Girls Students of Ten Standards. The participants are requested to follow the mentioned guidelines and attend the program positively. Students should come in full uniform. The entire participants are expected to be at the venue on time.
