Computer Science Dept of ICFAI Nagaland tracks Chandrayaan-03

DIMAPUR, July 30 (MExN): The Department of Computer Science of the ICFAI University Nagaland actively tracked Chandrayaan-3 utilizing Two-Line Element (TLE) datasets from various space agencies with an application developed by the department. A press release from the department stated that India's recent launch of Chandrayaan-3 by ISRO has ignited pride and excitement as the nation embarks on its third lunar mission. Chandrayaan-3 aims to demonstrate India's lunar landing and surface roving capabilities over 14 days.  It conveyed warm wishes to the ISRO team and said that this collaboration exemplifies India's prowess in space technology and fosters a culture of scientific curiosity in Nagaland. “The ongoing Chandrayaan-3 mission serves as a testament to India's remarkable achievements in space exploration, and ICFAI University Nagaland's unwavering support and involvement further contribute to the nation's pride in its academic institutions,” it added.

Nagaland BJP on induction of Dr Chuba as VP for 2nd tenure

Kohima, July 30 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland state conveyed its happiness over the induction of Dr M Chuba Ao as Vice President for the second tenure in the National Office Bearers Team. M Chuba Ao is amongst the senior most party karyakarta and loyalist from BJP Nagaland. It is his dedication towards the party's positive growth and progress that has propelled him the recognition at the National level for two consecutive terms, the state BJP media cell stated. He is a lone member from the Northeast to be appointed as National Vice President. Meanwhile, BJP Nagaland state expressed its appreciation to the Central leaders under  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah, National President JP Nadda and National General Secretary BL Santhosh for giving due recognition to one of its  senior member from Nagaland state. Further, the party congratulated Dr M Chuba Ao and wished him the very best in all his future endeavors.

Gov extends Naknyulüm greetings

KOHIMA, July 30 (MExN): Nagaland Governor, La Ganesan has extended Naknyulüm greetings to the Chang community. A press release from the Governor stated that the festival is celebrated to signify the triumph of good over evil. “It was originally a religious ceremony to mark their deliverance from darkness. It also coincides with the first harvest season of the year and hence it is also celebrated as a harvest festival. This festival is also a celebration of bonding through the exchange of gifts and delicacies amongst friends and relatives,” the Governor said. It hoped that this festival will usher in peace and onenesss among fellow people.
