Nagaland Gov extends Tuluni greetings
DIMAPUR, JULY 7 (MExN): Nagaland Governor La Ganesan has extended Tuluni greetings to the Sumi community. “As you celebrate the end of the sowing season and the beginning of a new harvest, may your homes be filled with prosperity and your hearts with happiness. May this festival strengthen bonds, foster unity, and promote harmony within the community, the Governor stated in a press release.
NU 4th Semester (Repeaters) & 6th Semester provisional results out
DIMAPUR, JULY 7 (MExN): Nagaland University has informed that the 4th Semester (Repeaters) and 6th Semester provisional results of BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA and B.Voc Examinations held during May 2024 have been notified. Phek DC convenes meeting for election of chairperson
Kohima, July 7 (MExN): As per the directives received from the Government of Nagaland and as per Section 12 of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023, Phek Deputy Commissioner has convened a meeting for election of chairperson and deputy chairperson of town Councils under Phek district. For Phek Town Council, it will take place on July 9 at 11:00 AM at DC Office, Phek; Chozuba Town Council on July 10 at 11:00 AM at ADC Office, Chozuba; Pfutsero Town Council on July 10 at 2:00 PM at ADC Office, Pfutsero; and Meluri Town Council on July 11 at 2:30 PM at ADC Office, Meluri. Phek DC John Tsulise Sangtam will act as presiding officer in all the meetings for election of chairperson and deputy chairperson of town Councils under Phek district. All the elected members of the town councils under Phek district have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
Halal beef rate enhanced
Kohima, July 7 (MExN): In supersession of the office order, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has enhanced and fixed the rate of Halal Beef at Rs. 400 per kilogram with immediate effect.
