TR Zeliang to inaugurate DPO office Peren
Kohima, June 3 (MExN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister TR Zeliang will be inaugurating the District Planning Office (DPO) Peren on June 8 at 11:00 AM. The programme will be chaired by Heinswading, Deputy Development Commissioner while dedicatory prayer will be pronounced by Nlumbui Hengame, Pastor District Hq. Fellowship, Peren. Technical Report will be presented by Er Haulimchoba Chang E.E, Planning. Hiazu Meru, Deputy Commissioner, Peren and Y. Kikheto Sema, Principal Secretary & Development Commissioner will deliver short speech. Vote of thanks will be proposed by Danyi Domeh, District Planning Officer, Peren. The programme will be followed by DPDB meeting. All the DPDB members have been asked to attend the same.
NSCN-K (Niki) notifies owner to claim recovered truck within seven days
Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Niki) has recovered an Ashok Leyland ECOSMET CA 1915 six-wheeler truck from the Dimapur area and has called upon the rightful owner to claim the vehicle by producing valid ownership documents. According to a statement, the vehicle, bearing registration number KA 19 AF 1679 and chassis number MB1A5GCD4SART2091, was recovered on May 31, 2026. The organisation informed that the owner may contact the Crime Control Cell, NSCN/GPRN, and complete the necessary verification process to reclaim the truck. It further stated that the claim should be made within seven days from the date of publication of the notice, along with all valid documents establishing ownership of the vehicle.
