Governor extends Holi greetings

Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan has extended Holi greetings to all who celebrate the festival of colours. “On this auspicious occasion of Holi, may your life be filled with vibrant colors of happiness, success and prosperity. This festival symbolizes unity, love, and new beginnings. May it bring peace and harmony. Let us celebrate Holi with enthusiasm, fostering positivity and strengthening the bonds of togetherness,” La Ganesan conveyed in his Holi greetings.

Gospel concert in Dmp postponed

Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Baptist Church Dimapur Youth Department has informed the public that the gospel concert scheduled for March 12 at DDSC Stadium Dimapur has been postponed due to incessant rain. The organisers in a press release expressed regret and have apologized for the inconvenience caused and requested all those who have purchased tickets to “retain them safely, as the same tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. The new date will be announced soon through all NBCA Churches, social media platforms, and press media.” They also appealed to all the participating artists to “bear with this unforeseen situation.“

JD (U) Wokha resolves

Wokha, March 13 (MExN): The Janata Dal (United) Wokha unit has resolved to strengthen the party structure in Wokha district, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing its presence and influence in the Wokha district. A press release received here stated that the JD (U) Wokha President P Renben Ngullie convened a meeting on March 12 in Wokha which attended by senior member S Aben Ngullie, former Wokha unit president and present state secretary along with other state officials. During the meeting, the JD (U) Wokha division unanimously resolved to remain under the leadership of National Party President and Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar and Northeast incharge and Lok Sabha MP Rampret Mandal. It also pledged to support its lone Nagaland State Legislature Jwenga Seb, the release added.
