
Can Youth condoles
Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): The Can Youth family has expressed sadness over the demise of Ramesh Hasnu on March 18 and offered its deepest condolences to the bereaved family. “We pray to the Almighty God to give strength to the bereaved family at this difficult time of irreplaceable loss of brave leader of KTCN,” it conveyed in a condolence note. The Can Youth further state that it would always treasure the support and contribution of late Hasnu towards the organisation. “He has always encouraged and motivated us to work for the youth and adolescents in building a better society,” it added.
YMC holds seminar
Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): Department of History, Yemhi Memorial College (YMC), Dimapur organised a seminar on ‘Raids and Expeditions: The early colonial contact in the Naga Hills’ on March 15. Dr Thungdemo N Yanthan, Assistant Professor from Department of History, Patkai Christian College (Autonomous), Chümoukedima was the resource person. The seminar was attended by YMC Principal, teaching faculty and students from 2nd and 4th semesters. TL Konang, Assistant Professor and HOD, Department of History, chaired the seminar and it concluded with vote of thanks by Hoboli Jakhalu of BA 4th semester.
