
NSCN/GPRN terminates member from service
Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN has terminated one Rolex Ayemi, Leacy Member, resident of Burma Camp, Dimapur under UT-1 from active national service with immediate effect. Informing this in a press release on Friday, the MIP, NSCN/GPRN informed that the termination order, issued from the office of the Secretary, Kilo Affairs, stated that “he has been terminated for violation of Yezabo of NSCN/GPRN and indulging in anti-national activities.”
NSCN (IM) condoles
Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of Tatar Mhonbemo Jami of Lotha Region, stating that the latter gave his ‘best service to the national cause that he loved most.’ In a condolence message received here on Friday, the MIP stated that Jami’s sacrifice and dedication for the nation would be remembered for all time to come and that his name would be recorded in the pages of Naga history. “We express heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and his close friends and pray that Almighty God grant them the strength to bear the loss,” the message read.
Hozheto Chophy mourned
Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): The Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has mourned the demise of Hozheto Chophy, Co-convenor of the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs) who breathed his last in Dimapur on March 27. According to the NTC, Chophy first came in contact with the Mediation Committee, NTC in 2016 while trying to establish a common platform for different factions in the state for a dialogue with the Government of India on the protracted Naga political issue. “His NPGN/NNC (Non Accord) government cooperated at the call of the Mediation Committee NTC with all sincerity and joined the NNPGs (W/C) vi-sa-vis political negotiation. He was found to be a soft spoken gentleman and a dedicated leader till death,” it said in a condolence message. The NTC conveyed its deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed to rest in peace.
Orientation prog for Govt School heads on April 4
Kohima, March 31 (MExN): The orientation programme for all Heads of Government Schools (GPS/ GMS/GHS/ GHSS) under Kohima and Tseminyu District will be held on April 4, at Ura Academy Hall, Mission Compound, Kohima at 10:00am. Informing this in a circular received here on Friday, District Education Officer Emilo Patton has requested all the school heads to attend the meeting positively. Strict disciplinary action will be initiated against the absentees, the circular stated while adding that registration will start at 9:00 am. Vehicle parking has been allotted at ABCC Mission compound premises, it added.
