NTCP appeals on No Tobacco Day
DIMAPUR, MAY 24 (MExN): On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2023 on May 31, the National Tobacco Control Programme Nagaland, has appealed to all educational institutions in Nagaland to observe the day to raise awareness on the dangers of tobacco use and it’s increasing influence on children and youth. To mark the day, institutions have been urged to take up awareness activities to pledge against tobacco habit.
NSCN-K (Niki) appoints caretaker
DIMAPUR, MAY 24 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Niki) has informed that Kilonser Kuhovi Zhimo, who was assigned as caretaker of Union Territory, NSCN/GPRN is withdrawn from his position with immediate effect. A statement issued from the office of Ato Kilonser stated Kughalu Yeptho, Kilonser, NSCN/GPRN has been assigned as caretaker, UT with immediate effect till further notice.
