NNC to observe 74th Naga Plebiscite Day

Kohima, May 15 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) will be observing 74th Naga Plebiscite Day on May 16 at Peace Hall Chedema, near Kohima. The programme will start from 10:00 AM onwards. Message will be delivered by NNC president Adinno Phizo. Short speeches will be delivered by Kegwanye Kent, president RRC, NNC and Medovi Rhi, president Naga Students’ Federation. The programme will be chaired by Shevohii Keyho, killo killonser Federal Government of Nagaland while vote of thanks will be proposed by Dziesevilie Kesiezie, advisor NNC.

PGD-NPCC on release of stipend under ITI

Kohima, May 15 (MExN): The Public Grievances Department (PGD) of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) acknowledged the prompt response of the Department of Employment. Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Nagaland, Kohima in releasing the stipend for students under 8 Districts of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) who have completed their courses including the students under training. The PGD-NPCC appreciated the department concerned for the timely response in considering the welfare of the students. This was stated in a release issued by Er. Meshenlo Kath, co-chairman Public Grievances Department NPCC and Wapangsenla, Secretary, Public Grievances Department NPCC.

GPRN/NSCN informs

Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): The office of Kilo (Home) Affairs, GPRN/NSCN has recovered a Scooty (Honda Dio) Grey colour, bearing Frame No. ME4JF39EHHU031626 and Engine No. JF39EU2140103 which, according to the MIP, GPRN/NSCN press release is kept for claimant and authentication at its office at CHQ, Naga Unification Cam1p, Khehoyi. Therefore, genuine owner of the vehicle alongwith all original documents have been requested to claim the vehicle from the office within 7 from issue of this notice.

NSCN/GPRN (Niki) condoles

Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Niki) has condoled the demise of Hevishe Jakhalu, GB of Surumi village and elder brother of Gen (Retd) Niki Sumi, President, NSCN/GPRN who passed away in Zunheboto on May 14. ‘Hevishe was upright and God fearing man. As a leader, he led the community with enthusiasm and passion in different capacities. His untiring and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people will be remembered by all for a long time to come. Vacuum created by his death will be hard to fill’ NSCN/GPRN (Niki) stated in a condolence note.
