NEE-2023 entrance exam rescheduled
DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (MExN): The Department of Technical Education informed the candidates who have applied for NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE-I, II, III) - 2023, that the NERIST authority has rescheduled the conduct of NEE-2023 on the following dates: NE-II & III on June 24 from 10 AM to 1PM and NEE -1 on June 25from 10 AM to 1 PM. All the candidates have been advised to download the updated Admit Cards w.e.f. June 14 from the website www.nerist.ac.in or www.neeonline.ac.in), a DIPR report stated. Further, the candidates have been advised to check the institute website regularly for updates.
Nla rules committee meeting postponed
 
DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (MExN): The Meeting of the Rules Committee convened on May 18 by the Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly vide this Secretariat’s Letter No.AS/LEG-26/2023/85 dated 15.05.2023 is postponed indefinitely due to the visit of the Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly to Nagaland.
Tribal artisans mela at Phek postponed
DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Phek, Kumar Ramnikant in an office circular, informed all local artisans/producers (individual/SHG/society) under Phek District that the Tribal Artisans Mela event organized by Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd (TRIFED), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, and scheduled to be held on May 18 & 19 at Phek Hq. has been postponed till further notice.
Introductory-cum-adoption meeting 
 
DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (MExN): Chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Imkong L. Imchen has convened the Introductory-cum-Adoption meeting of the newly constituted committee for the year 2023-2024 on May 17 at 11 AM in the Assembly Committee Room to take stock of unfinished business of the Committee and also to chalk out the work programme for the said year. All the members of the Committee have been requested to make it convenient to attend the proposed Meeting on the date and time as aforementioned, a DIPR report stated. 
Free health camp under the aegis of Ao Senden
DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (MExN):  North-East Health Services Guwahati under the aegis of Ao Senden is organising a free health camp and awareness programme in association with Apollo Hospitals, Guwahati on May 20 from 9 AM at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, Mokokchung. 
Specialist doctors from Guwahati for Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pediatric and Medicine (specialist in critical care) will be available during the health camp, a press note from the Ao Senden informed. 
NE Health Services Pvt Ltd is a Guwahati based organisation that deals with patients services from all over North East who comes for their medical treatment to Guwahati. The organisation is approved by the Govt. Of Nagaland,  Department of Health and Family Welfare. Their services include transportation, food and lodging, Doctors appointments, report and sample collection, city tour and many more.
DMC on trade license fees
DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (MExN): Consequent upon the introduction of digital based trade license management system, the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed that the following charges/fees shall be applicable at the time of application of trade license under the new system. 
 DMC Administrator, W Manpai Phom in an office memorandum informed on Tuesday that the municipal will charge one time registration of Rs 300 for trade license categories up to Rs 5000 slab and Rs 500 for trade license categories above Rs 5000 slab. 
A security deposit amounting to the amount equivalent to one year trade license fee and sanitary fees would be charged. Issue of duplicate trade license fee would be Rs 300. Change of ownership/firm name/category of business etc would be Rs 300 per license. 
Workshop on NEP 2020
DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (MExN): A day workshop on NEP 2020 will be held at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on May 17 from 10 AM to 3 PM, where around 100 teachers will be taking part. Resource person for the workshop will be Dr Archna Sharma, MSc, BEd, MBA and PhD in management on the topic ‘TQM in Secondary School Education.’ Giving a brief profile, a press note issued by St Mary’s Higher Secondary School principal informed that the resource person, Dr Archana has been conducting training workshops for teachers and students on various issues related to NEP, effective teaching & learning strategies, soft skill development, and student empowerment. She has extensive experience in strategic planning and fiscal management of educational institutions.
