
DC & DEO Kohima informs private vehicles owners
Kohima, May 27 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Kohima, Shanavas C IAS has informed to all the private vehicle owners, whose vehicles were requisitioned during the recently concluded 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election, 2023 for Kohima District that the payment for hiring charges will start at 8:00 am from May 30 to June 1. The vehicle owners/drivers have been directed to produce the requisition order and collect the hiring charges from the Office of DC & DEO, Kohima positively.
GSUCD inform Gorkha students
Chümoukedima, May 27 (MExN): The Gorkha Students’ Union Chümoukedima District (GSUCD) has invited all the Gorkha students of Chümoukedima district who have excelled in the HSLC and HSSLC examination 2023 to a felicitation programme on at Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC) hall at 3:00 pm on June 3. GSUCD President, Jacob Sundas in a press release has requested all the Gorkha students of Chümoukedima district to submit a photocopy copy of their marksheet on or before May 31. The students have been requested to come to the function in their present school/institution uniform and be seated at the venue by 1:50 pm. Nobin Pradhan, President, Nagaland Gorkha Association will grace the programme as chief guest while Dr Kuzonyi Wideo, ADC & Administrator, CTC has agreed to be the guest of honour, it stated. UNPG-NNC (PB) terminates 3
Dimapur, May 27 (MExN): The UNPG-NNC (PB) on Friday stated that ‘after setting up fact finding committee and thorough scrutiny’ has terminated SS Pongkhu Kilonser, Zuben Lotha OSD and Kakuto Assumi Kilonser from both active and primary membership to the organisation. All three have been terminated “on grounds of anti-national and anti-party activities thereby overriding the Azha of the collective leadership,” a press release received here stated. The decision for termination was arrived at after consulting the cabinet and the order is issued by Toshi Walling, General Secretary, UNPG-NNC (PB) it stated.
