
GPRN/NSCN informs
Dimapur, May 3 (MExN): The Ao, Khiamniungan, Tikhir, Sangtam and Zeliangrong Region of GPRN/NSCN including Eastern Naga National Workers Association (ENNWA) have extended their support to President Gen (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak and Kilonser Alezo Venuh. This was stated in a press release issued by MIP GPRN/NSCN.
NSCN/GPRN (Niki) terminates one
Dimapur, May 3 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Niki) has terminated one Imlionen Ao, Tatar hailing from Kellingmen village, “on ground of involvement in anti-social activities and for tarnishing the good image of government.” In a press release, MIP, NSCN/GPRN (Niki) informed, “Termination order issued by the office of Ato Kilonser stated this order comes into force with immediate effect.”
Raj Bhavan Kohima informs

Sufficient rice stock available: FCI
DIMAPUR, MAY 3 (MExN): The Regional Office of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) has informed that sufficient rice stocks are available in the central pool to meet the requirements of NFSA for the state of Nagaland. As on May 2, 2024, approximately 48900 MT of FRK rice is available against 11500 MT to be lifted during May 2024 which is well above the buffer norms/operational requirement, the press note informed.
ZUF condoles demise of Gwangkam Pame
Dimapur, May 3 (MExN): The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has mourned the demise of Political Organiser (PO) Gwangkam Pame @Akam, former Regional Tenki Officer (RTO) Asalu Region on May 3.
“Despite every possible effort and treatment, God in His own time and purpose has taken him away from us. Akam as we dearly called him and cherishing his presence as an elderly figure with his pleasant personality was a blessing for the front in many ways. His missing from us would cause much vacuum hard to fill by anything. He was an ardent and strongly committed leader to and for the cause of Zeliangrong political movement,” Media Cell, ZUF said in a press note.
While conveying condolences to the bereaved family members, ZUF prayed for “his soul rest in peace and that “he will be well remembered and attributed with high homage and tribute for all his sacrificial service rendered.”
