AHODs and HODs meeting on Nov 4

Kohima, November 1 (MExN): A meeting of Administrative Heads of Departments and Heads of Departments will be held on November 4 at 2:00 pm in Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima. Agenda items to be discussed include digitalization of all official records, timely disbursal of pension, and taking steps for ensuring that all paperwork is completed before retirement and PIMS & ePaybill.

ANFSA Dimapur Unit clarifies

Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): Apropos the news item ‘ANFSA Unit threatens to move Court’ published on October 27, ANFSA Dimapur Unit, President, Kari Temjen and Secretary, Visuto Tepa have clarified that “the allegations levied against PHED are erroneous and not as alleged.” The unit in a press release stated, “after ascertaining the facts, we found out that the proposals for regularization of work charged employees were put up by PHED and are now under process in various departments.” In this regard, it requested the Government to expedite the service regularisation process. 

NNC/GDRN (N-A) suspends one

Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): The Collective Leaders of NNC/GDRN (N-A) has ordered 'indefinite suspension' of one H Khekishe Aye, Chairman UT (1) with immediate effect starting October 31. The decision was taken by leaders as “empowered by the Yahzabo after thorough investigation and scrutiny,” informed a press release issued through the MIP. Aye was suspended “for tarnishing the image of the Government, for his anti government activities, misuse of government Adza and assigned duties and for corruption and illegal/unauthorised collection, etc.,” it said.  As such, the cabinet committee on National security suspended the service of H Khekishe Aye, UT (1) Chairman for an indefinite period till further orders, the release stated while cautioning that “anyone dealing with him will be doing it on his or her own risk and responsibility. The Government will not be held responsible for any untoward incident.”
