Tenyimi Union Longleng holds general meeting-cum-Picnic

Longleng, November 23 (MExN): The Tenyimi Union, Longleng held its general body meeting-cum-picnic on November 22. 
The union marked a significant milestone in its organisational journey as the members unanimously adopted the union’s constitution during the meeting. 


The constitution outlines the union’s objectives, organizational structure, membership criteria, and operational guidelines for ease of cooperation and collaboration. Guided by the motto of ‘kinship and unity’, the union aims to foster a sense of kinship, unity, and co-operation amongst the Tenyimi community in Longleng.

Deceased male patient’s body awaits claimants at Dimapur District Hospital

Dimapur, November 23 (MExN): The Dimapur Police today informed that a patient who had been under care at District Hospital Dimapur since November 5 passed away naturally on November 20.

The deceased has been identified as Late Atul Mech, 60, son of Late Oren Mech.

According to a press release from the Dimapur Police PRO, a police duty party conducted an inquest in the presence of witnesses and found no signs of foul play. 

Following completion of legal formalities, the body has been kept at the District Hospital morgue for identification.

The PRO added that despite several attempts, no family members or relatives have come forward to claim the body.
