Last date for AISSEE 2020-21 registration extended

Dimapur, November 24 (MExN): Prasun Basu, Gp Capt, Principal, in a notification on November 24 informed that the last date for online registration of the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for admission to Class VI and IX for the academic session 2020-21 which is scheduled to be held on January 10, 2021(Sunday), has been extended till December 3, 2020. Other details are available on the school’s website at www.sainikschoolpunglwa.nic.in and https://aissee.nta.nic.in, the notice added.

Dimapur: One dead body recovered

 Dimapur, November 24 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on Tuesday reported the recovery of an unclaimed body of a person identified as Solul Debnath (M/60 yrs approx) from Eros Lane area, Dimapur on November 24. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur for post mortem examination, a press release from the Dimapur Police PRO stated.

Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased have been requested to contact Officer-in-Charge, East Police Station, Dimapur.

Free knitting training in Tening

Tening, November 24 (MExN): A free knitting training for adolescent girls has been scheduled from November 26 to 28, 11:00 am onwards in Town Hall, Tening.

This was informed by ADC, Rhosietho Nguori, who is also the Chairman of Block Task Force on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), as per a DIPR report.

The instructors are Dibinbo, Coordinator, ICDS (8974746001/ 9402680215); Pelunwi R Newmai (Alun), LDA O/o ADC Tening (6909870941) and Anganwadi Workers of respective centre, the notice added.

The ADC directed interested adolescent girl candidates in the age group 9-15 years to contact and report to Tening Town Hall on November 26 by 10:30 am.
