
NSCN/GPRN (Niki) terminates 2
Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Niki) through its Ministry of Home Affairs has terminated two regional officials, Kughato Achumi, Leacy of Tichipami village and Hito Ayemi, Khapur of Tichipami village both serving under Union Territory from active national service for their involvement in anti-social activities. “A termination letter issued from the office of secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs stated that the termination order comes into immediate effect,” press release from the MIP, NSCN/GPRN (Niki) stated.
NSCN/GPRN (Niki) mourns
The NSCN/GPRN (Niki) has mourned the demise of Robin Lotha, Tatar who passed away on October 13. The NSCN/GPRN (Niki) MIP in a press release stated that Robin Lotha was a sincere and committed national worker who dedicated his life to serve the interest of the Naga people. The NSCN/GPRN honours his selfless service to the Naga people and which shall be always remembered by all. “On his death, the Naga people have lost a true leader of the people causing irreparable loss for the Nagas,” it stated while conveying condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
NSCN (IM) condoles
Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of 2nd Lieutenant Athrongba Mongzar, Army No AB-80181 of Security Task Force (STF) Battalion, Naga Army on October 14 due to cardiac arrest. He hailed from Chimonger village under United Sangtam Region (USR). He enrolled in the Naga national service on August 14, 2007. He served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. A press note from the MIP, NSCN (IM) stated that the void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and he shall be remembered for all time to come, it stated. The NSCN (IM) has also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
