NSCN (IM) suspends one
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has informed that Tingngam Konyak, Tatar, Konyak Region has been placed under indefinite suspension for his involvement in the July 31 incident at Tizit town. A press release from the Secretary to the Yaruiwo, NSCN (IM) said that the suspension order was issued consequent upon the recommendation forwarded by the competent authority and as per the decision of the Collective Leadership.
NSCN/GPRN (K) mourns
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (K) has expressed grief at the demise of George Sangtam, Razou Peyu of United Sangtam Region (USR) of Chemonger village under Tuensang district, who passed away on September 10 at Civil Hospital Tuensang. A press release from the MIP of the NSCN/GPRN (K) said that George Sangtam first joined NNC, N/A and later joined in NSCN/ GPRN (K) on April 20, 2023 and “served the nation wholeheartedly with full commitment and spirit of patriotism for the cause of the Naga national movement till his last breath.” “In his demise the Naga nation have loss one of the most dedicated and respected officer. His remarkable service records and commitment for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished in the annals of the Naga history,” it stated. The NSCN/GPRN (K) further extended condolences to the bereaved family.
