
CEAN general conference on October 8
Kohima, September 25 (MExN): The Civil Engineers' Association of Nagaland (CEAN) is all set to hold its 34th general conference cum felicitation programme on October 8 at State Academy Hall, Kohima. Er Hozheto Shikhu, Chief Engineer, PWD (Housing) will be the guest speaker. Dr Nzanthung Ngullie, Associate Dean (Consultancy), Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Nagaland and Er Sulanthung K. Tsopoe, SDO, Urban Engineering Wing will also exhort the gathering. CEAN president Er Choice Pielie will deliver welcome note. KCCI informs
Kohima, September 25 (MExN): The Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) today informed all the trading communities and esteemed members of KCCI that the yearly registration and membership drive for the fiscal year (2024) has commenced. During which, the officials entrusted with the task are duly authorised and have been issued with badges from KCCI office. In this, the KCCI requested all concerned to take note of the on-going activity by extending support and cooperation to the KCCI officials on duty. This was stated in a release issued by KCCI President Kezhazer Angami and Information & Publicity Secretary Kevichiizo Zumvii.
Mass social work in electrical colony Kohima
Kohima, September 25 (MExN): The Electrical Colony Council Kohima informed all the members of the Colony that Khrielievi Chiisi, Deputy Chairperson Kohima Municipal Council and Councillor Ward 17 in collaboration with the Council will be organizing a mass social work in the colony on September 28 from 6:00 AM onwards. In this, the Electrical Colony Council chairman, Sweyiekul Kennao and General Secretary, Tangmong requested all the residents to join the said social work. All the Office bearers of Electrical Colony Council, Women Wing and Electrical Colony Youth Organisation shall assist in carrying out this mass social work.
NSS Day observed in Eastern Christian College
Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): NSS Eastern Christian College in collaboration with Blood Centre District Hospital Dimapur observed NSS Day on September 24 at the college multipurpose hall on the theme "Youth for my Bharat". The formal programme was chaired by Genesis Aye BA 5th semester, welcome note was delivered by Bendanggangshi, Program Officer NSS highlighting the importance of the Day. Dr Dominic K Khanyo, Principal ECC exhorted the gathering reflecting on the theme and the role of youth in nation building. Dr Rongsenmar Longkumer, MO Blood Centre District Hospital Dimapur spoke on the importance of blood donation and addressed myths surrounding blood donation. After the formal programme, 36 students along with four teachers donated blood during the blood donation camp.

Mangkolemba, September 25 (MExN): In a circular the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mangkolemba, Moakumzuk Tzudir has informed that Sarv Dharma meeting is scheduled on September 30 at the ADC conference hall, Mangkolemba at 11:30 AM. In this regard, all communities falling under Mangkolemba Sardar and Alongkima Headquarters have been requested to send representatives to attend the meeting positively.
