ANHTU Dimapur general meeting on September 7
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 4 (MExN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), Dimapur Unit, has announced a general meeting scheduled for September 7 at 11:00 AM. The meeting will be held at Banker (HSSPAK) in Burma Camp, Dimapur. All Hindi teachers under the Dimapur District have been requested to attend the meeting.
NSCN/GPRN mourns
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 4 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN has mourned the demise of AM Kaiba, Kilonser and Convener, Political Advisory Board, NSCN/GPRN who passed away on September 2. A press release from the MIP said that “Kaiba was a man of honesty and strong moral principles. He remained steadfast in his belief and commitment to serve the Naga people and dedicated his life for the cause of Naga people's rights, serving the Naga nation until his last breath.” “Even in his early days he was involved in various civil society initiatives and actively served the people. On committing himself to Naga nationalism, he sacrificed all the comforts and worked dedicatedly holding various important portfolios and positions. He was also a member of the Ceasefire Board, NSCN/GPRN,” it informed. “On his death, the Naga people have lost a true and dedicated Naga leader and void caused by his death will be hard to fill,” it added and extended condolences.
