KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 3 (MExN): The Home Department, Political Branch has appointed Wigiang Chawang, Deputy Secretary as First Appellate Authority, E, Longphyo Kikon, Section Officer as Public Information & Nodal Officer and K. Longshen Khiamniungan, Junior Section Officer as Assistant Public Information Officer with immediate effect. The appointments have been made in exercise of powers conferred under Section 5 (1) (2) and 19(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, a DIPR report has informed, while adding that this is issued with the approval of Home Commissioner, Nagaland.
Zunheboto DPDB meet on Sept 11
ZUNHEBOTO, SEPTEMBER 3 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali through a circular informed all the concerned DPDB members that the monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting for the month of September will be held on September 11 at 11 AM in the Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Zunheboto. All the board members have been requested to take note of the date and attend the meeting positively, a DIPR report informed.
DC Longleng notifies
LONGLENG, SEPTEMBER 3 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Longleng, W. Manpai Phom has informed that the 2nd quarterly District Level Committee for overall implementation of schemes under Mission Shakti meeting has been convened on September 4 (Wednesday) at 2 PM in the office chamber of Deputy Commissioner, Longleng. All members are informed to attend the meeting positively.
13 AR small arms firing exercise
KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 3 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant has issued a notification order in accordance with the letter from 13thAssam Rifles informing all concerned villages, ward panchayats, and colonies under Kohima Town that the 13th Assam Rifles will be conducting a small arms firing exercise at the Firing Range, Kohima Garrison, from September 1 to 30.
Therefore, all residents have been strictly advised to avoid entering the Firing Range area during this period. Further, cattle grazing near the firing area are also prohibited duration the exercise.
ANHTU Dimapur general meeting
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 3 (MExN): All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) Dimapur Unit has conveyed a general meeting on September 7 at 11 AM at Banker (HSSPAK) Burma Camp, Dimapur. In this connection, all the Hindi teachers under Dimapur district have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
