The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) paid a visit to College of Arts & Technology, Nerhe Phezha and interacted with the college authority on July 6. The Union acknowledged the commitment of the college to provide free admission for both College and Hostel to the students in these trying times. The Union further informed that it will visit more colleges to understand the grievances faced by the colleges and students and also to provide all possible help to the institutions in their quest for providing quality education. ATMA Kohima, Chiephobozou block conducted demonstration on paddy transplanting under SRI (System of Rice Intensification) at SRI farm school, Nerhe model on July 2. SRI is a system designed to yield more crops as compared to traditional practice and thus it will increase sustainability among the paddy growers.
The new board of directors of Lions Club of Dimapur Japfu was installed on July 2 last for the lionistic year 2021-22. The new board of directors is led by Lanthuironglu Rongmei as President, Sanjay Thapa as General Secretary and Rendeno Ngullie as Treasurer.
